macOS Sonoma Support Ending

• Starting with the next release, Hudl Sportscode 12.74.0, we will no longer support macOS Sonoma. Users running Sonoma will be locked to 12.73.0 as their final supported version of Hudl Sportscode. To continue receiving updates, please upgrade to macOS Sequoia or later.

Your playlists now maintain complete data integrity when moving between Sportscode and Hudl.

• All metadata, row colors, playlist structure, and customizations are preserved exactly as you created them. No more lost information or reformatting headaches.

Drawings you add in Sportscode are no longer permanently burnt into your video when they are uploaded to Hudl.

• Instead, they're now preserved as editable layers that you can modify in New Hudl Playlists, then download back to Sportscode for further refinement.

Push your playlist changes to Hudl and pull updates from teammates with a simple sync workflow (Diamond teams).

• If during a playlist sync your playlist is out of sync with the playlist on Hudl you will receive an alert giving you the option to upload as a new playlist, replace the playlist or download the latest version ensuring everyone is always working from the latest version.

• If you try closing a playlist that has unsynced changes to Hudl an alert will be shown asking if you would like to sync up your changes ensuring your playlist on Hudl is always up to date.

• Hudl Sportscode now supports Secure-SRT streams and h.265/HEVC capture. These updates allow you to utilize higher-quality video formats and more secure streaming protocols for your live workflows.

• Temporarily, live streaming sessions are disabled when working with h.265/HEVC streams, while we fix an issue. This will be supported again in the near future.

• You can now review footage more efficiently using new hotkeys for continuous fast-forward and rewind for all the video players in Sportscode. Instead of holding down a key, a single press of "." or "," starts/rewinds playback at a faster speed.

• We resolved an issue where Sportscode icons for reference playlists and databases were not displaying correctly for users. Your playlists and databases will now show the correct icons, making it easier to identify and organize your files. Please restart your device for this change to take effect. We’re aware of an issue causing other Sportscode file type icons to displaying incorrectly in the Recent Documents menu, and we’re working on a fix.

• We've made it faster to sync your work to Hudl. 'Sync to Hudl' is now its own dedicated button in playlists that becomes active when you have changes to sync. You don't have to look for it within the 'Upload' button menu anymore.
• Saving clips from your playlist is now clearer. The 'Save to Source' option replaces 'Sync to Source' in playlists. The functionality remains the same, saving your clips back to your Timeline or Database.

• We fixed a small issue where the wrong option appeared in the playlist menu overflow when the window was small. You might have seen a duplicate 'Export Video' instead of 'Sync to Source', which is now 'Save to Source'.
• Previously Sportscode would crash when you tried to upload a playlist after changing one of the row colours using the grayscale slider. You can now use the grayscale slider to customise your row colours without the risk of a crash during upload.
• You can now open playlists created in previous versions that include the TBar effect. When updating to version 12.69.0, some people experienced an error message ("This Document could not be opened") if their playlist had the TBar effect applied. We have resolved this issue so your playlists will open correctly, regardless of the version in which they were created.

• If an issue occurs during capture that prevents a frame from being written to the movie file, you'll now see a count of the missing frames directly in the capture window. Previously, this issue was only logged internally, but now you have immediate visual confirmation of any skipped frames.
